Back to News Motionnex participated in Smart City Summit & Expo 2026, held from March 18–20, showcasing new developments in intelligent robotics for firefighting and urban safety.
At the exhibition, Motionnex introduced its new EV Inspection Robot, combining experience from firefighting operations with AI-powered sensing and analysis to support a more preventive approach to urban safety.
Designed for environments such as parking facilities, the system integrates multiple sensing technologies to monitor potential signs associated with EV thermal risks and support earlier detection of abnormal conditions. When an incident occurs, a water curtain mechanism can also help slow the spread of fire, providing additional time for emergency response and helping reduce potential risks to people and property.
The solution attracted interest from government representatives, city leaders, and industry professionals from Taiwan and abroad, highlighting the growing need for intelligent technologies that can support safer urban environments.
During the exhibition, Motionnex also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ALTOB INC., a leading smart parking solutions provider in Taiwan. The collaboration will explore the integration of intelligent parking infrastructure with robotic inspection technologies to develop more comprehensive safety solutions for parking and urban environments.
Smart City Summit & Expo provided an important platform for cross-sector exchange among government, industry, and research communities. Moving forward, Motionnex will continue working with partners across different fields to integrate robotics, sensing, and AI technologies—advancing practical solutions for safer and smarter cities.
